The GRASA Network ensures that the work of the Alliance is informed by those closest to the practices, policies, programs and people that influence the potential for achieving its mission of high-quality, equitable OST opportunities for youth. The Network provides is the collective voice for educating, planning, supporting and delivering high-quality OST opportunities in the Greater Rochester community.
Key responsibilities for members of the network include:
Serving as ambassadors and advocates for OST as a community priority
Sharing knowledge, experience and opportunities with other members
Providing input on strategic plan development, emerging issues and opportunities
Serving as a connector with current and potential community partners
In return, GRASA supports network members by:
Sharing emerging knowledge, resources and best practices
Providing professional development opportunities
Serving as a collective voice in championing systems-level high-quality OST and addressing OST issues at a local, state and federal level
Recognizing programs, organizations, institutions and stakeholders for their efforts
